We do a lot of cursory interviews, the county does try. Uh, we both do some back and forth between you and the county and our county. Other counties, you know, may have some of these out here. What, what I foresee is if I do get more cooperation, more of the domestic violence cases, the interview- I did. Um, so the detectives interview usually on their own cases unless they ask for a female or something -so they're working their cases, they're doing their interviews.

Cases come in from DCFS and it usually is assigned to an investigator because those type of cases they are. The domestic violence calls, however, are usually attended by patrol officers. They respond to the calls, they make arrests, they talk to people there on the scene. Those interviews that I'm asking to be done now, those officers aren't trained in doing first aid interviews. So that would take, take the time to come in and do those interviews with them, uh, where forensic interviewer would be able to do those things, time would have to make back, those kind of things, be able to get that quick, right, and not infringing on the investigator's times.

Speaker-CHey, what are we looking at in the way of what feel like the only thing I have is what I received from you back, which we would have to pay indirect cost. So if it could maybe go under- I, I don't know, I don't know how this would work. I've given this thought. If it could go under maybe the county attorney's office Can I still supervise them? I don't know.

That's something. But if it went under the county, it might be a little cheaper. But at what we were looking at is $28 an hour. And that, I've asked the state, I've asked other CJC's, that, that's what Vernal is going to be paying. So at $28 an hour for part-time, for everything, the fringe, the leave, the indirect, it's $51,000.

I mean, is what that is. I will tell you how some counties do it. So some other CJC, they have, and especially the larger ones, they're able to bill each agency so much per year depending on caseload too. Like some pay $2,500 in towards this, some pay $3,000 in towards it to help pay for this forensic interviewer. There are a couple of smaller centers who, The way they do it is they contract with their- it's actually law enforcement they use, but they have 2 detectives that do all the interviews.

They clock off so they're not on their county time or their city time doing the interview and are reimbursed a rate per interview. That's how some smaller centers do it. Some smaller centers do. That I don't know that I haven't really discussed that with
