willing to have a county surveyor, which of course, as a surveyor, we feel is one of the most important positions to have.

Speaker-BYou know, everything that our taxation is based on, every-.

Speaker-AAll of our land ownership is based on And we've been very fortunate to have a commission. So I'm sitting in that meeting, and our surveyors are everything from highly political surveyors to a couple contract guys that might make a meeting or two.

And anytime we talk about respective commissioners or council.

I'm probably one of only 2 or 3 that are able to sit back and say, well, if I go to my commissioners and have a good conversation, that shouldn't be a problem. You know, throughout the state, I believe a lot of those counties really struggle with CNI to buy and being able to work in conjunction with the Commission.

Speaker-BAnd I really appreciate you guys for that. You've been a great help to me and to my office, and Melissa as well.

Speaker-AI, I know I hit my send button on my email, and if I'm not watching right there, I'll miss her response.

And it's sometimes things that I might not even have a right to ask.

Speaker-CI just want to say thank you along with everyone else. I feel like good teamwork and good leadership starts at the top. We have 3 of the best leading us, and we appreciate that. Um, thank you guys for doing what I feel like is pretty thankless job most of the time.

Speaker-AYou guys seem to do it with a smile on your face most of the time, which is impressive.

Speaker-CThank you, and I appreciate all the-.

Speaker-AI won't take long, so thank you guys for everything you do with supporting the county, doing the long hours that you guys do. So thank you.

Speaker-BAll right, it's a pleasure working with you, and we're making big changes in this county, and wouldn't happen if it wasn't for you guys, you know. You guys are always got your doors open for everybody. So, you know, one thing makes me- yeah, I think the friendship that we created, it's just easy to come.
