Speaker-BShe's, she's the one that helps everybody, everybody else. So that gives more time for us to be out working on the cases.

And I don't see a problem. I don't know if you do as well, as even if it was through our office, I know you might get the same thing, but we can teach them and kind of what information to get.

Speaker-AThe training they're going to go through, it's continual training. It's not just a one-time training deal. They have continuous trainings out through the AG's office, uh, trends, everything. These, these forensic interviewers, they go to these trainings, they learn the trends, they learn other things, and they're updated all the time. So, uh, part of it is keeping up those, those qualifications, keeping up everything.

Sometimes that, uh, our officers, we want to send them training. There's all kinds of trainings they got to go to because they're not just working these cases. They got to be trained in everything. And so it just, it makes that person become an expert.

Speaker-CAnd these interviews are different than interviewing a suspect.

It's different techniques, different things you can say to do. So I get that it's tough for them sometimes, you know. But we've been doing well. I'm, I'm not saying we're not doing well because we have been doing well, but we can improve So the discussion with you and the county, did we get far enough in discussion to find out?

Speaker-AIs it a specific day a week most of the time?

Speaker-BYes, which was the problem.

Speaker-AYes, and what they wanted to be, any day of the week, and we would be like, we need to divide that up if you want that, or, you know, maybe go a day and a half.

Speaker-BWe could do like 3 half days or or we could even contract just a certain number of hours, and then if they're available, come over. But then again, that's an issue.

So that's why the board struggled with it and ultimately decided it probably wasn't in our best interest. For $20,000, that's $20,000 to get some help that you need, next to, next to nothing. And possibly you might not even use it because it might never be available when they need it.
