Speaker-BI'll hit some highlights in the document. This is kind of taking the next step in what Irene could envision when she first came up with the idea of trying to form a code compliance office.

She had hoped that it would be able to go countywide. And she had really wanted to try to bring Roosevelt in, uh, at the inception of the new office, but they were in the middle of a contract with Morrison's at the time. And now Bill Morrison decided he's not really retiring, but he's cutting back, and this is one of the things that he's trimming off. And so to hit the highlights of this proposal, it would be for a term of 5 years, the amount would be $78,750 the Roosevelt would pay the county. There are built-in increases on an annual basis that are tied to the consumer price index, and that's explained in more detail in the contract.
