it keeps it all in the center rather than it being cops doing it. And, you know, when the cops see the door, they go in and get pushed on the stand. You trying to do this here, this here.

Where the prison interviewer said, I don't have a problem with this, but I'm not the investigator. That's the difference when it comes to us presenting.

Speaker-BSo it lends more credibility to their testimony, right?

Speaker-AAnd, and so I think the officers are unbiased as well, but if its counsel doesn't, and sometimes- But you're still going to be doing- your, your agents are still going to be doing interviews, right?

Speaker-BIt's only when it's needed. I have mixed feelings on a forensic interviewer because I believe these interviews are perishable skills. When you don't do them as often, you're not as good at it.

So it would all depend on who we hired and if we can keep them. We all know sometimes keeping part-time employees is difficult. So if we keep a part-time employee, goes through all of this, they leave, now my guys haven't done an interview on the child for 6 months, and then we've missed things. And, um, but this is the way to go, and if we can find the right person to do it because it's the easiest way to go because all the interviews will be consistent. They'll get to know what they're looking for.

Like, you're absolutely right. Law enforcement is looking for very specific things. We see different interviews and get different information if DCFS is leading the interview or if law enforcement is leading the interview because they're all looking for different things. So, You know, it's going to work either way as long as we find the right person that's willing to be there. If we're not finding that right person and just throwing people into it, then I feel like there could be- there could be an issue.

But it does take a significant amount of time. I can't remember what you told me. We had one of our deputies that did 80-.

Speaker-CDid over 80, about 84, I think, interviews last year.

Speaker-B84 inter- I mean, that- and that takes a lot of a lot of time for that.

Speaker-CBut I will tell you, over 40 of those were not her cases, right?
