Thank you for all your support, leadership, and vision you bring to Duchesne County each year. Would any other department heads say something, please?

We didn't know we were supposed to be coming.

Speaker-AUm, it's fun to see Rex squirm since he saw That's the kind of guys you are. Work environment is a major factor in retention, and for me, that was my- one of my major draws for me to come out to Lucian County a decade ago, is how Commissioner Todd welcomed me and how supportive he was, and especially coming to a place where we have no family until we were effectively hired. Since that time, the commission has remained supportive and willing to listen. That can change with an election that fast.

And stability is a big reason I choose Dushane Kemi still, and I feel very blessed to be here. I think a lot have heard the story of Ernest Shackleton, who had a crew that got shipwrecked in Antarctica during the explorer years, and he's lauded as a great leader and a hero in extreme circumstances, and that's probably true, but What about the leaders who do the small things to keep the ship and the crew out of that kind of trouble in the first place? Who do the unseen work that's not shown in the news to keep everything steady and progressing day after day, a lot of times without thanks, and even in the face of complaints, and take, take so much of what they accomplish for granted. And then they have to balance a lot with the greater needs. And those are the kind of leaders I respect the most.

I count you guys as among that group. I thank you for working as a team and that you take your stewardship of public services seriously.

I just want to say thank you for all of the support that you show to all of the other officials.

Speaker-AWe get a lot of stuff accomplished as a team. We all see other counties and the dysfunction that can happen in county government when we all don't work together and we don't have commissioners to support and other elected officials.
