Key Concepts
Understand the main building blocks used across FileToWeb.
These terms are used consistently across the app.
Team
A Team is a shared workspace. Team billing, Team members, and Team permissions are managed at this level.
Folder
A Folder groups related Files inside a workspace. Use Folders to organize by project, campaign, client, or document set.
File
A File is an uploaded PDF in a Folder. After conversion, one File can produce multiple Pages.
Page
A Page is web-native output for one page of a PDF. Each Page has a live route and can be edited independently.
Version
A Version is a saved snapshot of a Page. You can preview Versions and choose which Version is published.
Credits
Credits are consumed by conversion and AI workflows. Credits belong to an account and are managed through billing.
