street parking of said second vehicle on the streets identified in this section, Monday through Sunday. In accordance with § 166-10.1, Permit Parking, all rules shall be followed with the exceptions set forth herein. The occupants of the townhome will only be issued a street permit if they have a second vehicle.

Time limits for vehicles without a permit. A person without a residential parking permit issued pursuant to this section shall park a vehicle on any of the streets or parts of streets identified in this section only as follows:

(1) Monday through Friday: for a maximum of two (2) continuous hours; and
(2) Saturday and Sunday: for a maximum of four (4) continuous hours.

Avalon Bay development. Residents and tenants of the Avalon Bay development shall not be eligible for a residential parking permit under this section and shall park their vehicles within the parking decks serving that development. Any vehicle of such a resident or tenant parked on the streets identified in this section shall be subject to the time limits set forth in Subsection D above.

Temporary guest passes. Temporary guest passes enabling a guest to exceed the time restrictions set forth in Subsection D shall be made available by the Borough of Somerville upon request to the office of the Borough Clerk, subject to such reasonable conditions as the Borough may establish.

Somerville Civic Center; accommodation for public meetings. The Somerville Civic Center, located at 24 Robeson Street, hosts public meetings which often commence at 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.n. may in some cases extend beyond the two-hour limitation set forth in Subsection D above. The Borough shall provide flexibility to accommodate vehicles parked in connection with attendance at public meetings at the Somerville Civic Center that extend beyond two (2) hours, and no vehicle shall be deemed in violation of the time limits of this section while its operator is in attendance at a public meeting at the Somerville Civic Center.

Somerville Civic Center Plaza. Parking is permitted within the plaza located in front of the Somerville Civic Center, and shall be limited to a maximum of two (2) continuous hours, for the following purposes only:

(1) Attendance at public meetings at the Somerville Civic Center, subject to the accommodation set forth in Subsection G above;
(2) Leasing Office inquiries
(3) Deliveries; and
(4) Drop-off and pickup of persons using the train station.
